Go to the room in the Cursed Cave where you must throw skeletons in to the barrier. Instead of throwing them, just kill the skeletons. They will keep on respawning forever and you will be able to gain as many levels as you'd like.
Go to the front of the location where you are fighting. You will not get hit by the lava that is coming at you. Keep pressing [SQUARE] when the enemies appear.
